An unusual Regency period lidded box in bottle green toleware highlighted with gilded floral motifs. The box, with integral under-tray raised on four feet, has a pierced navette shaped superstructure and retains the original lid with acorn finial. A charming piece possibly for nuts, sugar or gentleman's dress accessories. Circa 1810-20.
Condition: One restored foot and minor chips to the paint.
