A decorative pair of mid 19th century Hispano-Moresque dishes probably made in Spain in imitation of the earlier 14th and 15th century copper lustre wares in the Manises tradition.  Using the same techniques and strongly influenced by Moorish/Islamic culture, the dishes feature grape motifs.  Both have a hole in order that they may be easily hung.  Circa 1850.
