Having bought online myself, I understand that sometimes things will not be exactly as envisaged from a photograph.   It is important that you are entirely happy with your purchase so if you have any qualms when the item arrives, I am always happy to accept a return with full money back guarantee.  In addition, we comply with all Consumer Rights legislation relating to buying antiques online.  

Whilst every attempt is made to give a full and accurate description regarding age and condition, we all have a different idea of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  Many of my pieces are in perfect condition but some will have chips, hairline cracks, marks or minor restoration commensurate with age and use.  This is often what gives an antique its unique character and appeal and it will be priced accordingly.  I will happily send further images and discuss condition more fully if the photographs I have used don't convey the whole picture.  

With regard to the age and origin of my antiques,  I try to be as precise as possible. I have over 30 years experience and I only buy from reputable and knowledgable sources but sometimes a piece will defy any measure of certainty. Being an antiques dealer is, and should be, a constant learning process so I welcome discussion and differing opinions.
