Of decorative Rococo form, an 18th century mantelpiece pocket watch stand cast in bell metal with a bronze patina. The design of the stand features a cockerel and a lady playing a lyre amongst 'C'-scroll and foliate motifs. The pocket watch, when not in use, hangs from a metal hook to the reverse.
