Georgian Nailsea glass rolling pin

A Georgian, Nailsea glass rolling pin in dark bottle glass with flecks of opaque enamel. The pin has a knop finial to each end in order that it may be hung by a string for decorative effect. Possibly used in the kitchen for rolling pastry or as a 'lace pin' to dry fragile textiles which would be draped over. Origin: Nailsea, Bristol. Circa 1790-1820.
