An attractive and practical 19th century hall bench in oak.  The long bench of fine quality is with decorative roll ends raised on turned balusters.  The piece is raised on four sturdy turned and faceted legs.  A useful furnishing piece ideal for use in a variety of ways;  a hallway, a window seat, the end of a bed, behind a sofa.  The bench is fitted with a comfortable squab cushion with self-piped edge.  Circa 1840-60.
