TJ Boulting's group show explored the diverse use of clay in art, connecting antiquities - supplied by Fisher London - with contemporary artists working today. The earliest work in the show is around 4000 years old, the most recent completed just weeks ago. The show asks us what is it that has drawn artists to use clay for millennia? It reveals the thread that weaves its way through clay’s many guises that connects past and present together.
