A beautiful, decorative and high quality late 19th century Kashmir silver sweetmeat dish in the form of a chunar leaf and berries. The chunar (plane tree) grows around the lakes. Origin: Srinagar, Kashmir. Circa 1890.
The silver tests as very pure - of a higher quality than sterling.
