A charming mid 19th century cruet set comprising a stand in papier mâché with decorative gilt and red painted border with brass handle and four glass bottles. The stand has four brass rimmed apertures which retain the original glass bottles for oil, vinegar, mustard and pepper. An attractive and still practical piece for the dining table remaining in excellent original condition. English. Circa 1860.
